Vmg Sailing Development is a new performance sailing coaching service located in sunny Tampa Bay, Florida.  The term "Vmg" is is used in performance sailing circles as shorthand for "Velocity Made Good". This term describes traveling from point A to point B in the fastest time possible (aka "making good"), given your tools at hand (your boat, your sails, the wind speed and direction - aka the "velocity").  At Vmg Sailing Development, we have a passion for sailing, sailboat racing, and most importantly coaching sailing!  It is our goal to take the tools available to you (your velocity) and bring you to your performance sailing goals in the shortest amount of time, in other words, make them good!

The coaching staff at Vmg Sailing Development are US Sailing Certified and US Coast Guard Licensed.  With over 2 decades of US Sailing coaching experience, we have the skills, knowledge and experience to make your performance sailing goals a reality.
